Rehearsal Dinners
The night before the day itself — dinner in the elegant dining room or out in the garden, with both families gathered at one table and the toasts already beginning. The evening ends early enough, and warmly enough, that everyone sleeps happy.
Bridal & Baby Showers
A gracious daytime gathering in the gardens and the parlor — a beautifully laid table, something lovely from our kitchen, and a historic house that makes every photograph look like an heirloom.
Tea Parties & Luncheons
A proper tea, in a house that remembers how. Fine china in the parlor or a table set beneath the garden oaks, charming and just a little whimsical — for birthdays, mother-daughter afternoons, book clubs, or no reason at all beyond the pleasure of it.
Anniversaries & Milestones
Birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, family reunions — the occasions a family measures itself by deserve better than a back room. Mark them in a house that has been keeping family celebrations for over a century.

Cuisine by The Southern Spread
Our own in-house kitchen and hosts — the same hospitality behind every Caldwell wedding. The menu is built with you for the occasion, from a full seated dinner to a tea table; no caterer to find, no vendor to manage.
The gardens, pavilion & dining room
Choose the setting that suits the gathering — the gardens for an afternoon, the pavilion for an evening, the elegant dining room for a seated dinner. We will help you pick the right one.
Coordination
Our team keeps the timeline and tends the details, so the host of the party actually gets to be at the party.
Setup & cleanup, entirely
All of the setting out and all of the clearing away belong to us. You arrive to a finished room, and you leave it to our care.
Rooms for out-of-town guests
The inn's guest rooms are available for anyone traveling in — so the celebration can end with a walk upstairs instead of a drive.
The arrival & the evening
On-site parking sits just steps from the gardens, so guests arrive easily. Out of courtesy to our downtown neighbors, music winds down by 11:00 PM.
