The Caldwell House has five guest rooms available to house a family reunion, whole house rental, off-site business meeting or special weekend retreat. Reserve a room or the entire house for your special visit to Abbeville and South Louisiana.

Families of brides and grooms will enjoy the convenience and comfort of reserving the entire home during wedding festivities.  The bride and her party will enjoy the excitement of The Caldwell the night before the wedding in preparation for the big day.

Furnished with queen and king-sized beds, Caldwell rooms afford spacious sitting areas as well as sleeping comfort. All have private baths. Some rooms have special amenities such as gas fireplaces or Jacuzzi spa, and all are equipped with television, wireless internet and the unmistakable Caldwell ambiance!

A gourmet breakfast is included in the price of the rooms for guests to enjoy in our elegant dining room on gold-rimmed china.  Returning guests will be treated to a different menu each time they stay with us.  Gourmet breakfasts include such foods as Pecan Praline French Toast, Breakfast Casserole, Sweet Potato Stuffed French Bread and more!  Our breakfasts will leave a lasting impression on you as much as the beauty and comfort of the home.

Guests have access to coffee, tea, soft drinks and water anytime during their stay.  Snacks are provided complimentary in each room daily.

Amenities include:  Luxury robes, shampoo, conditioner and lotions; ironing boards and irons, hairdryers and a few surprises.

Guests will enjoy spending time on our porches sitting on the white wicker rockers and admiring the view of our West Garden. Sip a cup of coffee, read a good book, or enjoy conversation in the lush landscaped beauty surrounding you.

Enjoy the view of the front lawn from the turret of windows. Bistro tables and chairs make a perfect place to play card or board games or sit on the comfortable sofas enjoying quiet conversation.	Enjoy an elegant gourmet breakfast each morning in the dining room; help yourself to coffee and tea at anytime. On cool evenings, enjoy dining in front of the gas fireplace.	Evangeline Master Suite is located on the first floor, has a king-sized bed and a gas fireplace. The private bath has a jacuzzi tub and separate shower.
Bayou Retreat is on the first floor and has a king-sized daybed which can also be separated into 2 twin beds, a private bath with a clawfoot tub with shower, and has a handicapped bathroom just down the hall.	Morning Glory is on the second floor and has a king-sized bed which can also be made into 2 twin beds, and a gas fireplace. The private bath has a tub/shower combination.	Garden View is located on the second floor and has a queen-sized bed and private bath with a shower only (no tub).
Fleur de Lis is located on the second floor and has a queen-sized bed and a daybed for a child. The private bath has a tub/shower combination.
