Receptions The Caldwell's interior offers the gracious design elements that distinguish this home from ordinary banquet halls. Your event will have an ever-changing ambiance as guests move through its varied spaces throughout the evening. Greetings and laughter fill the spacious center hall as guests mingle under 14-foot high pressed tin ceilings. Intimate conversation finds a home in the comfortable parlor. Delicious buffets are set out in the large dining room, while guests roam to the study for a drink at the magnificent brass and wood bar. The Caldwell will furnish all glass fleur-de-lis dinnerware, silverware and glasses.
The Caldwell's five approved caterers are: Don's Custom Catering, Abbeville; Chef Bobby & Dot Catering, Kaplan; Zea's Restaurant Catering, Lafayette; Marcello's Catering, Lafayette; iMonelli Catering, Lafayette. These caterers can provide unlimited options for your menu, serving passed hors d'ouevres, Cajun specialty items, more traditional foods, or your custom-designed menu. The Caldwell staff will gladly work with your favorite baker, florist and wedding planner to coordinate your arrangements. Whether you choose a live band or dj, our staff will do whatever it takes to accommodate them. Our licensed beverage service provider will take care of the entire beverage service package.

Included in The Caldwell's reception packages are silk florals for inside the home, linens for inside the home and under the pavilion, as well as other wedding items such as fleur de lis punch bowl, cake knife sets for both the wedding and grooms cake, champagne flutes, dinnerware, silverware, glassware and napkins. In addition, The Caldwell staff will help coordinate your wedding and reception and work with you up to the wedding date. We will handle all of the setup, coordination and working the event, and cleanup. We will take care all of the details making it a worry and stess-free experience for the bride, groom, family and friends. We can also suggest various unique items to add to your wedding reception, such as a photo booth, ice sculpture and decorations to match your theme.
