  • "We visited the Caldwell House this past weekend as a short getaway from our busy daily lives. The Caldwell House was beautiful with fantastic staffing and delicious breakfast. We truly enjoyed ourselves."

  • "We needed a location for my daughter's prom pictures and she wanted something "out of the ordinary". She suggested "The Caldwell" and it was perfect! From the time we arrived we were treated like royalty. Carolyn, the manager, had amazing photo ideas and did everything she could to accommodate us. She even went as far as moving furniture, plants, rugs, you name it. It was a truly wonderful experience and the pictures came out great!"

  • "We could not have chosen a better place to celebrate our wedding. From the moment our family and friends arrived on Friday for the rehearsal, everyone was impressed. The house, garden, pavilion and curb-appeal are welcoming and gorgeous. My favorite part of this venue was that we had a "get-away" weekend while feeling so at home. Our parents stayed in the rooms upstairs, so we were able to have breakfast together, visit, laugh, cry, and reminisce. It was nice for our families to have a chance to come together."

  • "The Caldwell House was more than perfect, it was a dream from the moment we walked in! It was not only elegant and beautiful, but welcome and comfortable all at the same time. We had our three month old twin boys baptism reception there...which was an elegant picture perfect venue (with delicious catering by Don's Custom Catering). Myself and my family, eleven in all...grandma, parents, teens, children, babies...also stayed there as guests and LOVED it. It was incredibly comfortable with just the right availability of privacy when wanted and visiting space too. The breakfasts were AMAZING!!!!! Although we were all on vacation, no one complained about rising early...because we all awoke to the delicious aromas calling us into the dining room! Even our two teenagers popped out of bed earlier than the adults to the smell of the BEST gourmet breakfasts I've ever had the pleasure to dine on."

  • "The Caldwell House was an awesome place for my wife and I to stay. She is from Abbeville, but there were too many family members already staying at her parents' house. We stayed Friday and Saturday night. Our room was gorgeous. The bed was comfortable. My wife's sister and all of the bridesmaids were able to rent the room across the hall from us to get ready for the wedding. Mrs. Carolyn had snacks for the girls during the day and breakfast for us in the morning that was delicious. She even made me a plate of cheese and crackers that she left in the fridge for hangover snacking. Our friends had the downstairs suite for just the Saturday night and also really enjoyed themselves."
